I should've been working there. These employees asked us a whole assload of questions...but only one actually asked if we owned Macs. They thought they could teach us things about something we knew nothing about...where in fact...I may have known more about the Mac OS and programs than them.
Friend's New Mac

I helped a friend get his new iBook set up today. Of course, it was I who brought him to the conclusion that he should buy a Mac instead of a PC. Now he's up and running with Panther. And to think I can't even get a job at Apple.
Apple Store

So, I applied at the Apple Store yesterday. It opens at Penn Square Mall on the 24th, and I have heard that interviews were already held. Strangely enough, the listings are still there, and even more were just posted on the first of this month. I hope I get a job there because I REALLY need one...and I want a job that I'd enjoy.
No RAM Today and iChat Information

Voice Recognition and Other Updates
I got Speakable Items up and running yesterday and am currently waiting on my expansion RAM. I also got iPhoto and Garageband installed and am still trying to learn how to use them. Man...I wish I had Adobe Audition for Mac.
Finally Back to OSX

I managed to download the CD images of OSX since my DVD was not working and got Tiger back up and running. Now I can actually talk about what it's like to be a Windows user learning the Mac OS.
Found some old games...

I found a site yesterday with games from my childhood, from number/word munchers to Oregon Trail to Carmen Sandiego, I downloaded them all. Man, I love this Mac.

Day 1: The Setup
Well, the iMac has arrived! After getting it set up, and messing around on OS X for a while, I decided, like an idiot, that I would format and partition the hard drive, and install OS 9 and OS X on separate partitions. While it seemed like a splendid idea at the time, it quickly spiraled out of control. I am currently struggling to get OS X setup to BEGIN! OS 9 installed without a single hitch, and even upgraded to 9.2.2 easily, but OS X just keeps freezing. More updates to come soon.
